Tulane University Special Collections (TUSC) invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors to its mixer and open house during Wave ’24 Weekend.

View, handle, and learn about rare and unique archival materials from TUSC holdings, meet TUSC staff who can answer your questions about archives and special collections, and "visit the archives" just for fun. Free treats and giveaways, while they last.

On display will be selected archival materials related to:

  • Tulane University Homecoming
  • U.S. Presidents' Campus Visits
  • 1884 World’s Industrial and Cotton Centennial Exposition in New Orleans
  • 1984 Louisiana World Exposition (aka World's Fair) in New Orleans
  • Louis Prima and The Jungle Book motion picture

On view in the TUSC Gallery: Printing Beauty: The Kelmscott Press and the Arts & Crafts Movement

Plus, learn how archival collections are organized and get advice on preserving your materials at home.
